Frequent freezing in the updater/loading screens

Whenever I start the updater, I log-in, when it reaches to the "cyberspace" button or the "Open 1" it'll just freeze and I'd have to restart the client all over again.

Kenny didnt turn server on for some reason, and he's offline on msn. So I dont think it will be up today, good thing I have doctor's appointment tomorrow so I can grind then.

It wasn't the server, it happens before the server went down and it just happened again.
